This is a prestigious event where our group will be at the very front of the parade\, representing Herne Bay at Canterbury Cathedral. \nFull smart uniform is required and we will be having professional group photos taken. These will be a huge support to our hall fundraising efforts. \nSchedule Summary: \n1:45 pm: Arrival & Group Photos at Westgate Gardens. \n2:15 pm: Parade begins through Canterbury. \n3:00 pm: Service at Canterbury Cathedral. \n4:00 pm: Service ends/Dismissal from Cathedral. \nFull details and formal letters will follow soon. DESCRIPTION:Visit to RNLI\nOn Weds 2nd July we won’t be meeting at the hall\, we will be meeting at the RNLI station in Whitstable. We are really excited to meet the local lifeboat crew\, this is a great chance for the Beavers to do something a little different! \nBeavers are to arrive at 5.30pm in smart uniform please\, with neatly rolled scarves. There isn’t parking at the RLNI station itself\, but there are places nearby to park and walk: \nHarbour Car Park\, CT5 1AB \nGorrell Tank Car Park\, CT5 1BZ \nVictoria Street Car Park\, CT5 1JB \nBeavers are to be picked up at 6.45pm from the lifeboat station. The lifeboat volunteers have said that they may launch the lifeboat for a training session between 7.00pm and 7.15pm\, so you may wish to stay with your young person to watch this. \nPlease make sure you pick up your young person promptly at 6.45pm even if you wish to stay and watch the lifeboat launch. Our leaders are not all able to stay to facilitate late pick-ups. \nHelp wanted! Once again\, we are asking for some parent and carer volunteers to stay during our RLNI visit. It’s rare we get an opportunity like this\, and we do need some additional help in order to make it happen.  \nThis activity counts towards Beaver Challenge badges\, so those wishing to get their Chief Scout Bronze award should try to attend. \nAs always\, if you do have any questions\, please get in touch. \nBest wishes\, \nThe Beaver Leader Team
