The 100-year Transformation – Phase 2

The Goal: £5,000 (Current 12-Week Sprint)

The Mission: Our historic Arkley Road headquarters – one of the very first purpose-built brick Scout halls in the UK – needs urgent structural preservation. Phase 1 successfully secured our eco-friendly solar roof. Phase 2 starts with a push to complete critical damp-proofing this summer.

The World Scout Jamboree Fund

The Goal: Our Group’s contribution to enable our three World Scout Jamboree participants to attend.

The Mission: Three of our incredibly talented young people have been selected to represent Herne Bay and the UK at the upcoming World Scout Jamboree in Poland! This is a life-changing international expedition, but the cost of equipment, travel, and training camps is significant. Our Group is providing a contribution to the total costs required (separate to our young people’s cracking individual fundraising efforts)

How to Help: Support our young people by contributing to our Group’s dedicated expedition fund – ring-fenced by our Trustee’s to ensure every penny goes directly to supporting this once in a lifetime experience.

Micro-Fundraisers & Everyday Magic

The Current Project: The Badge-Sewing Sanity Fund!

The Mission: Don’t have the time (or the eyesight) to sew 15 badges onto a target blanket or uniform? Our volunteer team is running a micro-fundraiser to do it for you in exchange for a small donation to our equipment kitty.

How to Help: Once you’ve booked in with the team, drop your uniform or blanket off at the leader’s office along with the donation (or transfer to our group account).
